Performance standards for agents used in airport fire protection have been tightened by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA). The following are new NFPA specification requirements for foam used at airports:
3 % AQEOUS FILM FORMING FOAM (AFFF)
6% AQEOUS FILM FORMING FOAM (AFFF)
